This area of the west coast is something like a picture book of Scotland. The naming of the 'lochs' near the coast is not simple: arms of the sea as well as lakes are called 'loch'. But the difference can be stated easily: the bank of the lakes shows a continuously green growth. Where the tides work you'll find shiny cliffs or kelp.
