Picture Quality

Can you see all fields on the scale clearly?

Often the screen is set too dark and does not have enough contrast. With an adjustment not only the text, but also the pictures will gain in brilliance.

Have a detailed look at the picture on the righthand side. Do you see steps in the colour or borders within the colour? If yes, the grafics adapter is set to 'thousands of colours' or less. With 'billions of colours' (24bit and more) these steps will disappear.

Settings for a Windows system: START - Settings - Control Panel - Settings tab - Color Palette. 'True Color' is normally the best display setting.

Flat screens cannot show the colours in the same variety as conventional screens can.
