Palma is named after the palm tree and, of course, palm trees
embellish the whole city. During Easter it is rather calm in Palma because many
inhabitants stay in the countryside or on the mainland.
Otherwise Palma is a city like any other big city too. Not
too big, not yet a mire - not too small either and with varied cultural events.
There is a lot of traffic and therefore the cathedral has to be renovated all
the time. And I finally wanted to see the steeples without scaffolds.
On Easter sunday we only had laziness on our minds. There's
snow at home: good news via radio, SMS and email. We had about 20°C with a cold
wind. Of course we went inline-skating again and had a delicious dinner. And
as mentioned above we went dwadling through the city...
