This is the Vänern lake, which is ten times bigger than the
'Bodensee' - just like a small sea. Slowly the journey continues up north on
small roads through the south of Sweden.
This could be Michel von Löneberga's place, but the story
was actually filmed in Midsweden. Not only the flaggs are blue and yellow, but
also the traffic signs, which warn before dangerous bends. Could this be a sort
of 'Corporate Identity' ?
Getting in the proper mood for Iceland. Today the elk and me drove
about 50 km of gravel roads. The elk was looking for fellow elks, but there
weren't any (although it's really elk land here!). As recompense we spotted
a fox looking for food later on, on the camping ground. First I thought it was
a dog - and gone he was!
